Thoughts I Had... The "Dunkirk" Poster

Chris here. If you're one of the lucky souls getting to see Rogue One this weekend in the very few IMAX 70MM projections it will have, you'll also be getting an extended glimpse at Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. While we can brace ourselves for the inevitable repetitive bickering between the director's fans and detractors, it's at least intriguing to see Nolan stepping into a new genre for the WWII flick. Here's a look at the first poster and some thoughts:

Team Experience Finale: Golden Globe Gaiety

You must forgive your host for these next two and final Globe nom survey questions. Please blame the heavy NyQuill and other drugs for his terminl cold flu situation of the past 48 hours. After snubs and favorites, I asked the team which categories would make the Best Dinner Party and the Best Orgy. No really, I did. I apologize.

Here are the responses and I expect yours, too. Amuse me on my deathbed* in the comments please

We ♥︎ the San Diego Film Critics Society

I want to make out with every member of the San Diego Film Critics Society right now. Why? It's not for their individual choices, no, though some of them are good. It's for this simple fact: they looked at the entire film year and not just movies that are just now hitting theaters. And, my friends, that is EXACTLY what film critics are not only supposed to do but best suited to do. The publicity teams and Oscar campaigns are already on the job of reminding people about which movies are coming out. Critics should notice more than what's being shoved at them minutes before they vote.

Hell or High Water is their big winner but other pre-November releases in their mix include Aquarius, The Nice Guys, Love & Friendship and more. Good work San Diego! You can see the full list after the jump...

Team Experience: Golden Globe Snubs & "WTF?"s

We polled Team Experience on the Golden Globe nominations this morning. Here is part one in which we dispense  quick thoughts about the most head scratching nominations and the 'I know they di't' dismissals (I know we're not supposed to call them snubs anymore but the word is such convenient shorthand).

WHAT'S THE SNUB THAT MAKES YOU THE CRAZIEST?
