Streaming Tops: Bob's Burgers, Persuasion, Ms Marvel

THE BOBS BURGERS MOVIE is #1 on Hulu and on HBO

What have you been streaming? Anything you'd like us to discuss? The following charts on "most popular streams" are for July 18th or thereabouts. There's no set system of when numbers are reported from service to service like there is with the world of theatrical releases, nor does every service even report so consider these guesstimates or 'taking their word for it'...

More Quick (Belated) Reviews: Bob's Burgers Movie, Senior Year, etc...

by Nathaniel R

THE BOB’S BURGERS MOVIE
I was perplexed about how to talk about this movie as a longtime passionate fan of Bob's Burgers. On the one hand it was as enjoyable as any episode of the show and it was great to spend time with the Belcher family again. On the other, when I went to write a proper review of it a few days after the screening, I couldn't remember any of the specific jokes beyond the perpetual tease about whether Louise might lose her bunny ears...

Which of them will delight the Academy...

Emmys Review: Animated Program

by Christopher James

All three of their challengers have won before. Rick and Morty won its sole bid for Outstanding Animated Program in 2018. Meanwhile, Bob’s Burgers has consistently earned nominations for every year since its second season, winning in 2014 and 2017. And never count out the most senior show in a lineup. The Simpsons won this category last year, its first win since 2008. In total, the legendary comedy has been nominated twenty-seven times in this category, winning twelve of those competitions.

Since this is a tight race, it may come down to episode submission. Let’s take a look at the field:
