What does this tagline even mean?

While searching for showbiz anniversaries on this day, I came across the Tony Randall / Janet Leigh movie Hello, Down There which was released 50 years ago on this very day. But the tagline threw off the rest of my research so it's the only "today in showbiz history" factoid you get this morning. 

A combo of scuba dupes rock up a storm in a mad pad under the surf!

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? Is it in English? I recognize the individual words but can't comprehend their meaning as a sentence. Was it a mad-libs of  common late '60s vernacular?

Film Bitch Awards: Best Kiss, Sex Scene, and Sexpot of the Year

This past week we asked the team to pick some favourite screen kisses for Valentine's and we must thank them for reminding us of the sexy canoodling in Notorious, Last of the Mohicans, Love Simon, Spider-Man, and The Notebook. This weekend we're bringing it back to the now or at least the very recent with the 2018 Film Bitch Nominations for our three lustiest categories: Best Kiss, Best Love/Sex Scene and Sexpot of the Year.

Posterized: Mary, Queen of Scots

For today's Posterized a little something different - rather than a star or director, a character. Here are all of the films that have told the story or a story involving Mary, Queen of Scots. The latest iteration, Mary Queen of Scots (which we just reviewed) starring Saoirse Ronan opened in movie theaters today. Saoirse's other two movies this year (On Chesil Beach and The Seagull) didn't really register with moviegoers so we're hoping for the best with the third given the Brooklyn/Lady Bird goodwill she's accumulated. But on to the royal question at hand...
